How insane is it, to be watching a NASA livestream on Twitch and watching the Artemis II crew returning to Earth. Re-entry, a six minute blackout, splashdown. My boyfriend and I watched the stream on our TV from our couch, and it felt surreal to watch.
The world has felt dark lately but following along with the journey of Artemis II has been such a bright part of my life over this past week. It's made me feel hopeful and grateful, and restored my sense of wonder. The world can be bright, and beautiful, and inspiring. I wish I had more intelligent, eloquent words to say. All I can think is: This is huge. This is insane. I can't believe I'm watching this live. This is history. And we get to watch every moment of it!
